Khidkiyaan

Unche-chote imaaraton mein qaid kayi khidkiyaan hain.
Kuch khamosh, kuch bolti...
Kuch gumsum, kuch khushnumaa.
In khidkiyon ke peeche zindagi saans leti hai...

Maine Bombay ki
Simti-uljhi galiyon mein,
Aksar kayi khidkiyan dekhi hain.
Kabhi khuli to kabhi band,
Kabhi andhere mein lipti
To kabhi chaand si roshan...
Anucreative - Anukriti Sharma Photography
Kayi anjaan chehre dekhe hain
In khidkiyon ke peeche...
Magar na jaane kyun
Yeh saare chehre
Jaane pehchaane se lagte hain
Ek ajeeb apnapan sa lagta hai
Maano maine in sab ki zindagi jee ho...
Maano main in sab ki zindagi jee rahi hun.

The concept is nice...You know what one more things your blog is imitating my blog "Khidkiya" posted in June month and written by me....
Khair good attempt but the work of a writer is to write something fresh not coping other's work. http://afsheenkhan786.blogspot.com/2013/06/khidkiya.html

Hi Afsheen,

First of all, thank you for your comment on my blog.

I read our post today and found both the posts similar. Isn't it wonderful that two women, living in two different cities of India, share similar thoughts?

I had not read your post before today, but let me assure you, I never copied what you have written. Two people can have similar ideas, can't they? I loved your version of how you look at khidkiyaan. I am glad someone else too thinks like I do. God bless.

Fantastic as always Anukriti. God Bless your pen. The post is incredible, gave me goosebumps.
By the way i don't understand this entire, very juvenile, brouhaha created by this Ms Afhseen Khan. I just went through her blog and except for the idea of reflecting on life encased behind the frames of windows in a metropolis there is little similarity.
Being a writer myself i find Ms Khan's language impertinent and highly condescending, as if she monopolises the idea of writing on windows. Anyway, it's upto her to keep living in this creative hubris.
Looking forward to reading more on your blog.

Interesting observation on windows.

My perception on windows would be:

khidkiyan na sirf kamro ke darmiyan rakhna,
apne zehano mein bhi thodi si khidkiyan rakhna

(not my concoction but something I read & liked)
